The Suzucho Karatedo School (Linh Truong Karatedo Tradition) was introduced to Vietnam in 1940 by its Founder, Professor Choji Suzuki. Guided by the principle, “Like the sound of a bell that resonates far and wide — enriching knowledge, refining conduct, and helping others as a way of helping oneself,” the school has continuously developed, making significant contributions to Vietnamese martial arts and achieving remarkable success on the international stage.
Following the success of Volume One, which received enthusiastic support from fellow practitioners and readers, we have continued to compile and publish Volume Two under the title:
“Standardization of Techniques – Suzucho Karatedo Ryu Kata and Introduction to Sport Karatedo Techniques.”
This publication aims not only to preserve the traditional cultural values of the school but also to update and introduce contemporary sport Karatedo techniques. It is a dedicated research work intended to provide more than forty thousand practitioners, both domestically and internationally, with a solid foundation for continued training and study, thereby enriching the development of Vietnamese Karatedo.
We sincerely hope that this volume will serve as a valuable companion to readers, supporting physical training, cultivating the spirit, and guiding all toward the true martial art ideal: Truth – Goodness – Beauty.
